- What kind of a toy is the SmartyKat™ BungeeBouncer™?
The BungeeBouncer™ is actually THREE toys in one. The soft, stretchy fleece dangler toy attaches around doorknobs or other stable objects and features two separate attachments; a feather attachment and the FishBonz™ refillable catnip toy attachment. Either attachment will dangle and bob enticingly from the dangler at eye level to your cat. Most cats can't resist the urge to pull on the toy, which of course causes it to bounce away from them. The FishBonz™ toy can be detached from the BungeeBouncer™ and used as a catnip-filled floor toy.
- How do I introduce my cat to the BungeeBouncer™?
The BungeeBouncer™ is difficult for most cats to resist. The bouncy cord and fluttery feathers creates something cats love - unpredicable movement. After attaching the cord around a doorknob and attaching your choice of attachments, bring your cat into the room. Lightly tug on the stretchy cord, allowing your cat to see the fun result with you nearby. Give your cat some room to investigate the toy on its own. If your cat likes catnip, fill the FishBonz™ with fresh catnip and try this attachment first.
- Is the BungeeBouncer™ safe?
Very safe. The BungeeBouncer™ was designed with a special safety release at the point where the toy attaches to doorknob. Should your cat pull hard enough on the fleece cord, it will detach from the doorknob. Though this toy was designed for solo play, we recommend that pet owners always supervise their cat's play.
